Contribute subject matter expertise, project management and analysis to support successful execution of Capital Markets Operations initiatives. Participate in projects that may involve any/all of the following drivers: operational risk management, quality improvement, regulatory soundness, cost reduction, process re-engineering and /or technology introduction or enhancement.. What will you do?. Providing subject matter expertise, performing analysis, and problem solving: 70%. Lead and participate in projects of various sizes and scopes.. Research, formulate, propose and implement strategic solutions.. Provide Capital Markets Operations subject matter expertise.. Partner with key stakeholders and deliver value added solutions.. Perform analysis of data, processes and systems.. Provide Operations teams with End User Computing (EUC) tools to enhance efficiency and improve controls. Research, identify and document requirements.. Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other change management methodologies.. Work efficiently with a view to high-quality work product and quick-to-market solutions.. Support system testing and creation of user documentation.. Planning project portfolio: 20%. Liaise with Operations management and staff to understand their roles and challenges.. Liaise with IT management and staff to interpret / clarify requirements.. Constantly seek to improve own capacity, skills and expertise.. Other: includes managing project resources: 10%. Build strong, long-term relationships throughout the RBC organization. What do you need to succeed?. Must-have. Mandatory: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Mandatory: 4 - 7 years of experience in a project / change management role. Nice-to-have. Experience with Six Sigma ,LEAN, PMI methodologies. Experience in the Operations Risk & Control domain (i.e. KPI, KRI, Risk Quotient, etc.). Experience with regulatory reporting requirements of a U.S. Broker / Dealer. Experience with Collateral Optimization & Regulatory Reporting. Results / execution-focused orientation. Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable managing a portfolio of projects with competing priorities. Ability to communicate, lead, and influence. Demonstrated success in the execution of Operations-related projects. Ability to acquire and apply new / enhanced subject matter expertise.
