As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care.A working Patient Registrar who, in addition to registering, scheduling and obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients, assumes some responsibility for the work direction and training of Patient Registrars in accordance with established guidelines. As a Senior Patient Registrar, provides work direction, schedules work, conducts on-the-job training, and answers job related questions. Assists in preparing performance evaluations; may recommend personnel actions for assigned staff.The shift for this position is 11:30pm - 7:30am - Monday - Friday with every other weekend required at Lawrence Hospital.Preferred Criteria* Some college* Knowledge of insurance benefits/requirementsRequired Criteria* High school diploma or GED* Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience* Strong computer skills* Effective CommunicationJoin a hospital where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
