Job Description

Liquidnet develops and deploys cutting-edge financial technology solutions for institutional asset managers. Established in 2001 to match institutional liquidity in the equity markets, Liquidnet launched its fixed income trading platform in September 2015, following the acquisition of Vega-Chi. Its venue is where the world's largest fixed income asset managers share their own natural liquidity in a policed and protected way, to trade in size and achieve better execution. With a presence in both the United States and Europe, more than 475 institutional Member firms and 1300 active users can trade global High Yield, Investment Grade and Emerging Market bonds on the platform.

Liquidnet's ongoing mission is to make global markets more efficient. By combining the firm's large scale network of institutional buy side customers, technology and Order Management System connectivity, the platform enables the exchange of larger size liquidity and has created one of the world's largest pools of natural liquidity.

As we continue to expand our emerging market fixed income presence, we are looking to hire sales professionals in New York, Los Angeles and London to take a leading regional role in this effort.


* Market the Liquidnet institutional network to buy-side and sell-side institutions who are active in the Emerging Markets (corporate and sovereigns - focus on USD/EUR bonds);

* Provide sales coverage to a select group of clients;

* Identify and drive sales opportunities; creating and evolving relationships with prospects/clients;

* Collaborate with the global Fixed Income team to develop and implement long-term sales strategies;

* Develop in-depth knowledge of workflows and distinct trading strategies within the various institutions and effectively communicate and demonstrate how we support Member and prospect trading needs;

* Partner, daily, with clients to drive committed liquidity and order flow into the liquidity pool;

* Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, including marketing and institution onboarding.


* A minimum of 5 years of proven success in an Emerging Markets sales role;

* Extensive knowledge of the broader Emerging Markets client and investment landscape;

* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and a proven ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment;

* Strong work ethic and attention to detail;

* Series 7 and 63 licensed.
