Deputy Director Commercial Analytics



Your tasks and responsibilities



The primary responsibilities of this role, Deputy Director
Commercial Analytics, are to:





+ Analysis, quantitative modeling, query development,
insight development



+ Brand marketing: Marketing program business case
evaluation and ROI analysis; cross-portfolio ROI analyses; topline
opportunity identification using various internal and external data
sets and advanced analytics frameworks and tools, etc.;



+ Sales force effectiveness: Sales force FTE evaluation
given forecast data; topline projections given promotional response
function and available FTE; field alignment given customer targets
in reach & frequency as well as account-based sales approaches;
call planning, etc.;



+ Pricing, Contracting, and Rebating: Plan/payor
performance analysis given formulary design changes; Copay and
price elasticity modeling; evaluation of patient assistance
programs;



+ These tasks will have direct impact in BU and CGC
business strategy, and overall influence on the BHC US Pharma
division's optimal resource allocation.













Who you are



Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our
LIFE values. More specifically related to this position,
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:







Required Qualifications:









+ Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
(Statistics, Marketing or Management Science, Economics, Operations
Research, Engineering, Accounting);



+ 12 years of commercial analytics experience
with demonstrated business acumen;



+ 5 years of experience incorporating some of the
following: Project management, account management, optimization,
modeling, statistics, marketing and price modeling, sales force
sizing and structure, STP (segmentation/targeting/call planning),
simulation, and/or decision analysis;



+ Scoping and management of market research and analytics
projects;



+ Team leadership;



+ Advisory/subject matter expertise;



+ Ability to manage undefined scopes and put structure into
large-scale ambiguity;



+ Structured communication skills. Ability both to clearly
communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in
business terms;



+ Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical data sources
including sales data sources such as IMS, SourceRx, laptop/iPad
detailing, Specialty Pharmacy data, formulary data,
etc.;



+ Solid working knowledge of the US healthcare and market
access environment across multiple segments (Contracting, Pricing,
MCO, PBM, SPP, Wholesaler/ Distributor, Retail, Federal/State
payers, etc.).









Preferred Qualifications:





+ Advanced degree (Masters +) with statistics related
fields.
